I was a bit disappointed when I received these. I buy everything from Lego, other building block sets, toy figures and figurines, video games, etc. – anything collectible so I believe my opinion about something is truly worth noting. The plastic of this Transformers Optimus Prime and Megatron is light in weight and has a cheap hollow feel. It does not articulate well. The cranking and loud click of the legs is terrible (noticeable only on Megatron. Optimus Prime seem to use a smoother type of wheel so there’s no loud click). Either way why wasn’t ball and joint used instead? What I did like are the colors and it’s 7 inch size. Going to keep it because it was a gift but wish they were done better.

I got this Optimus Prime/Megatron set for my son’s 6th birthday and he absolutely loves them! He had a little trouble transforming them at first, but they’re not super difficult for younger kids, as there are only five or six steps. They’re all plastic, so durability is a concern. These look awesome as robots, so-so as vehicles. That’s opposite of the original toys I grew up with, where the vehicles were cool, but sometimes the robots sucked. I had Megatron as a kid, which transformed into a handgun, but the robot was awful and looked nothing like the cartoon. In this set, Megatron turns into a kind of weird looking tank, and Optimus Prime’s tummy drags and prevents his front wheels from rolling. Megatron has his cannon, but Optimus has no weapons. So they’re not perfect, but my review is based on how much my kid likes them, which is a lot.

My wife and I bought these for our grandson for his birthday and he flipped out. He absolutely loves both Men because they can finally battle it out with their Autobots and now Megatron is getting his butt kicked everyday now lol

My 4 year old son recently discovered Transformers and he loves this set! The size, durability, and movement of these is perfect for his age! Color was great and he has so much fun playing with these! All parts are easy for him to maneuver with his little fingers.

I wrote another review for the Starscream and Bumblebee that match up with these so here’s the good for these two.
-durable, after 6 months they are still holding up well.
-good price
-and transformations are not too complicated. My 4 year figured them out with a little help.
There are some negatives
– Optimus prime doesn’t come with a gun. Again, why? They did this with the Bumblebeeas well and it makes no sense.
– Megatron’s transformation, while easy to figure out, is hard to actually complete. It’s hard to describe in writing, but the final steps involve folding two parts at the same time and they don’t really line up the way they are supposed to. My son gets it close enough that he can still play with it, so it’s fine.
I would still recommend this toy if you have a younger kid who’s into transformers. These toys strike a good balance between being complicated enough to be fun, but not so complicated that it’s frustrating. Some of the other kids transformers are so simple they are boring and these aren’t that.

got it for my son so he could play with transformers that weren’t toddler toys. he loves them and they’re kinda fun to transform, too

My grandson is going to love these transformers! They are an Amazon exclusive. Well made and a great size for little hands and without too many moves to transform. They arrived from Amazon in the USA 5 days early, this is why I love Amazon!

Fun gift for my 4 year old grandson. Looks good and very durable. The truck is easy to assemble but the plane is a bit harder to put together.

Cumplen con sus objetivo, aunque los esperaba mas grandes, quizá yo tuve el error de no ver las medidas, cumple a secas, aún así lo recomiendo, quizá debería costar un poco mas barato

It’s a gift for my nephew where after assembling one of the transformer, we realized It’s missing an important part.
