I received Opaita 15×50 roof prism binoculars to test them out and here is my review. Just a little about myself. I am an amateur astronomer and owns all different kind of binoculars and telescopes.
The Opaita 15X50 binoculars come with a nicer carrying case than similar brands. The neck strap is padded, and both the Ocular lens and Objective lens come with dust caps which only come with more expensive binocular brands. The grip of the body of any binocular is very important to keep the instrument steady and this unit comes with a phenomenal grip. Overall look and feel are comparable to very high-end binoculars. In the package, you will also find a Cell phone adapter.
In general roof prism binoculars are considered sleek trim modern binoculars with a more complicated prism than the standard Porro Prism. Light is roughly hitting six different points inside the prism. If I go much deeper than the phase coating in these binoculars is perfect means keeping all the light in phase.
The center focus wheel is well balanced not too tight or loose. The Focus knob is also bigger means, someone with arthritis can manage the knob easily. On the challenge side, the tripod adapter plug screw takes some time to open. All roof prism binoculars have the same challenge, and I don’t consider this as an issue.
In my review, these are very powerful binoculars without extra weight. If we break 15X50 then it means that the Objective lens is 50 millimeters which can gather more light and can be a good instrument in low-light settings. 15 is a very high magnification for any 50-millimeter binoculars.
I highly recommend using a tripod when using these binoculars to get the most out of them. Most binoculars in 50 MM are either 8X50 or more commonly 10X50.
These are great second-pair binoculars for birding as you can clearly see more details on any species of bird in a stationary setting. I would also use these binoculars at night if you were thinking of getting into astronomy. These are great for viewing the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and Mars. Also good for a bunch of open star clusters and globular clusters. Please do realize that with high power your field of view will decrease means it will get down to 4.4 degrees. You do need to get star charts or star chat on an app to navigate the night sky. One more thing I would like to point out is that these binoculars are BAK4 prism, not BK-7 prism which refers to a type of borosilicate glass. BaK-4 refers to a light barium crown glass that provides higher levels of image quality. The exit pupil of a BK-7 or K9 prism is not perfectly round which can easily cause clarity issues.
Please take some time to use these binoculars correctly by learning about Interpupillary distance and how to focus the binocular correctly when using the center focus knob as well as how to adjust the diopter. The kit comes with an easy-to-read small guidebook. Enjoy your next adventure with Opaita 15×50 roof prism binoculars. This is a precision refined instrument and would not function properly even if dropped once so much care is needed when handling.

Hab das Fernglas für meinen Mann bestellt. Man sieht sehr scharf durch auch ohne Brille, man kann eine Kordel dranmachen damit man es sich um den Hals hängen kann. Ich hab es auch bei Nacht getestet und mir den Vollmond einmal angeschaut, man sieht jeden Krater. Ich bin wirklich sehr begeistert und wir nehmen das Fernglas jedes Mal mit wenn es in die Berge geht. Ich werde dieses Fernglas weiterempfehlen, denn auch die Lieferung war top und sehr schnell.

These binoculars are super clear! I can see things from far away easily, can even see dandelion flowers and other dust particles floating around, as well as read license plates from a great distance! The binoculars are contoured for my hand, which makes holding them and adjusting them easy! They are lightweight so looping them around my neck with the comfortable, easily adjustable provided strap or holding them up to my eyes is not a problem. They come with an instruction manual as well. The only problem I found was with the provided lens covers that don’t fit tight enough, allowing them to fall off just by turning the binoculars down; to me they should stay on better and require more effort to remove. Other than the improperly fitting lens covers, these binoculars are top notch and a good value for the price!

These binoculars come with covers for the eyepieces but not the main objective lenses; I was disappointed with that. The strap, case, and cleaning cloth were all welcome additions. The lenses looked to be anti-glare coated but not anti-scratch, which is another small problem. Keep them in the case and you should be good.
20×32 means 20 power magnification and 32mm front objective lenses. Divide 32mm by 20 and you get 1.6mm, which is the diameter of the “exit pupil” of light that comes out the eyepiece. Your eyes are about 4-5mm, so there isn’t a lot of light coming out. This is fine in daylight but at night, at the theater, or in dim light, you’ll want less power and larger objective lenses.
Since the eyepieces rubber caps are not able to be removed or folded down to get out of the way, eyeglass wearers will be even worse off because their actual eyes will be farther away from the eyepiece. This makes it harder to see the whole field of view. I would like to have seen foldable eyepiece covers.
Having said that, these are light, easy to hold, good image, good field of view, they have a nice diopter adjustment, a fairly wide adjustment for width of lenses, and they’re perfect for hiking or birding in the daylight. I wouldn’t use them for theater use or night time, and I wouldn’t use them for astronomy unless you’re hiking around during the day and staring at the sky at night and only want to bring one pair of binoculars.
