Set-up was pretty easy, even tho’ no instructions were enclosed. Operation of it is pretty easy. But do not buy it if you want real cooling. It is a glorified fan – adding ice to the water tank or adding the frozen ice boxes included do little if anything to make the fan/air output any cooler than just a regular fan – plus ice and ice boxes thaw within a half hour or so. So any cooling impact you may happen to sense fades away very quickly – faster than you can refreeze the ice boxes. And not worth it to sit there and constantly add ice cubes to the water tank.

The cooling system is only effective when your home’s AC is working. We bought this thinking it could help while our AC was out for the week, but sadly the room stayed hot and it became stuffy in there due to the humidity from the fan. Because it did not work the way we thought it would, we returned it.
