Let me tell you my tale….
First ordered this Apple Watch brand new, shipped and sold by Amazon. Within 48 hrs of receiving it, Amazon dropped the price by $30. Called to ask for a credit of the difference, and they said “Send it back and reorder.” So I returned the item, even though that is a RIDICULOUS policy and is a huge net negative for the environment. Waited a week after pickup, got proof of delivery that UPS delivered the return to Amazon’s KY return facility a week ago, and as of this morning the app and website still showed the return is “in transit” and not received. So… I called to ask where my refund was, because it clearly states in the app that “Refund issued once item received.” In a call with Carol at Customer Service (not recommended), she claimed/insisted that Apple Products are subjected to more scrutiny in returns. Ok, understandable. She said I was informed of this by email, but that is simply *not true.* NOWHERE does it say this on the product page, in the return policy online, or in any emails I received.
By the time all this goes down, the price of the watch has almost doubled in my Cart, so I decide to buy “Like New” from Amazon Warehouse for $20 less than the original sale price. Received the watch tonight, and — lo and behold, despite it being in a sealed box — the watch was DOA. Dead. Wouldn’t power on, even after a charge. Also, even if it had worked there was NO remaining factory warranty on the item, according to an Apple Support coverage lookup.
What a mess. What an environmentally unfriendly way to do business. And in the end, Amazon will end up losing much more than the initial $30 it wouldn’t credit me. Now I’ll just buy a new Apple Watch from Apple to avoid all this mega-retail nonsense, even if it costs more.
Oh, and all this means I’m waiting on TWO refunds that Amazon will surely slow-walk because of some mysterious Apple Products return policy exception that no one can seem to show me in writing.

I’ve always put off getting an Apple watch because their so expensive. But buying one from Amazon at a super reasonable price made a difference. It goes great with my iphone. I’ve always bought the cheaper smart watches, but never really cared for them. But after seeing advertised on Amazon a brand new Series 7 Apple watch at a great price I bought it immediately, and not disappointed. There’s so many things the Apple watch can do to make things easier. Love this watch! And thanks Amazon for your A-1 service that you’ve always had!

I bought this version at a good price, this Stainless steel version is more elegant than the aluminum one, it just had a problem with the battery due to the long time it was off, already 2 years from its manufacturing date, but after a procedure known to wake up again, it works perfectly.

I absolutely love this watch. I just bought this a few days ago and it’s been just the most handy device ever!! It’s super convenient having my phone virtually on my wrist. I primarily bought this to track my weight loss journey and fitness progression and it helps a lot in the gym. I was skeptical at first because the reviews were talking about bad battery life and defects but my watch is perfect and works perfectly fine. The battery is amazing! It lasts 14+ hours. I took it off the charger around 8am and it’s now 1:50am and it’s on 30%! Lasts me a full day at the gym and at work. So i don’t know what people were talking about regarding this watch having horrible battery life. Maybe they got a defective Watch. Idk. But this is a great watch. 11/10 highly recommend!

I was skeptical ordering this on amazon but couldn’t beat the price. As you’d expect from a normal purchase from apple, everything wa seamless in delivery, setup and usage!

I received a “Brand New” watch but the box was damaged and not technically sealed. The watch itself is nice, I like the stainless steel a lot comparing to my old aluminum Series 7.
But like many others mentioned, the watch arrived with a “dead” battery that wouldn’t turn on, so if yours have the same issue “green snake graphic” on the watch when charging you need to charge it for like an hour or so, then it’d turn on eventually.
For the warranty expired message, if you check on Apple’s website you’d see “purchase date not validated”, you have to call Apple Support and let them know you bought a brand new watch and ask for a purchase date update. After that you’ll get a full year warranty displayed in the settings.

Ordered a brand new watch and received a new sealed watch. Works perfect and looks amazing in the graphite SS. It arrived dead. After a few hours on the charger it turned on and paired to my phone. Watch has most likely been on a shelf for a long time. Been using it a week now with no issues. Really enjoy all it does. Other buyers: If you receive it and it won’t turn on, just charge it a few hours before trying to turn it on. It should turn itself on once it reaches about 50%. Seen a lot of other reviews with that issue.
My only complaint is the first one I bought. “Like new” it was locked to the person who previously bought it and returned it. I could not activate and was forced to return. Took over a month for my refund. I really don’t think Amazon checks their returns despite grading them and their return process is difficult. If you buy one I recommend new when it’s on sale.
