“Works a little too well” according to the person I gifted it to. They love it, cooled off a 18×20’ room within a few minutes and stayed cold for 8hrs on one fill of water👍🏻Hardly any any noise whatsoever.

It lasted a few weeks before the first issues. It turned off for no reason a lot. Then it wouldn’t turn on at all. Then it when it did turn on again it doesn’t most the water so I have had the same water in there for a week without filling it. It is so useless it blows air like a one year old trying to blow out their fist birthday candle. Also the warranty is crap and a waste of money.

I only got to use this twice in an office setting. It has already broken. Not worth the money.

Received cooler and it works great. Problem is it came without the filter for the water tank. Due to that, the cooler blows out a mist while cooling which could be hazardous since its a “Desktop” fan that is near my computer. This means i can only use it as a fan until i receive a filter. I reached out to Black & Decker and they couldn’t provide me with how to replace or purchase the filter.

I am very happy to say this fan does keep me nice and cool at night. It’s actually better than my oscillating fan. I wake up less than I do when I run my fan. It has a hum but not too loud. I had a hard time trying to find the filter. The directions really were not helpful. They mentioned moistening the filter under cold water but didn’t say how to access the filter. I figured it out but it was not intuitive.

Is it an arctic freeze, no. Does it blow cool air as advertised, yes! I doubted it even after I unpacked it. I was a believer within minutes of filling it with water, turning it on, and enjoying the hot-flash relieving breeze!
