The size of the fill light is unexpected, but that,s what he should look like .It has some weight in your hand, but it doesn,t make you feel hard. With shading board, can control the size of the beam ,very intimate design .The workmanship and material are excellent, and the frosted surface of the lamp tube is very beautiful. light color adjustable, but also simulate streamer lamp

Got this on a gamble hoping to have a light for photography and a backup light for when shooting video and I absolutely love it. The battery life is long enough for me that I don’t worry about it, and is bright enough that it doesn’t leave me wishing for more. For the price, I recommend any photographer or beginner videographer to add this to your kit!
There is only one con for me, and that is that I couldn’t get the remote to work for me, which is not a deal breaker but definitely takes away from a potential 5 star review.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised by quality and considering a few comments about the brightness, it is more than adequate for beefing up light at a reasonable distance from the subject. The brightness is the equivalent of about 75-80 watts from an old style bulb.
Lasts 90-100 minutes on full brightness so I’d think would easily get a couple of hours on lower settings.
The remote is actually quite useful as you can select a colour mode by individual buttons rather than click clicking through the sequence via a single button on the grip.
Only minor downside is that it’s advised not to use while charging. Not a huge issue, but if I need another I may pay more for one with a cooling system to allow for this.
Don’t know how durable the wand is, but all in all very pleased with it so far.

Really discreet tube which throws out a surprisingly strong light for the size.

When it worked it was great. Sadly since I didn’t use it everyday I can’t get a refund. I turned it on to test it and show a friend and it was amazing. The next time I used it was at Halloween, I cycled the colors and it work perfectly. The charge lasted several hours. Next, I tired to use it to shoot a friends Christmas card. At first it wouldn’t turn on, when it finally turned on it kept shutting off after a few minutes. Finally, it wouldn’t turn back on again. Before writing this review, I gave it one more try. I changed it over night, I see the charging light is not coming on and this morning it wouldn’t turn on. Too bad because it had great potential.

I’m a videographer who like to travel light and move fast, so having a light like this at the ready is a welcome addition to my kit. It’s a soft source all in one device. The battery lasts longer than I’d need in most cases, and if I need it to be on for longer, I can connect it to a battery bank via the micro USB port. There is of course a 1/4-20 thread at the bottom, so you can mount it as needed. It can be controlled either by the remote, or on the buttons located on the handle.
The only negative I’ve found so far is that the remote isn’t always very responsive. I sometimes either need to get closer or press the button harder. Not a big deal.
For the RGB features, keep in mind that you cannot dial in the exact color you want. You are limited to the presets on the remote. Besides the 3 different color temperature settings, you can change it to red, green, blue, yellow-green, pink, and teal.

So far, this has been a wonderful source of light for all sorts of ideas. For one, it is light in weight and easy to operate. there are only a few buttons to bother with on the light stick itself, which you’ll find yourself going to before anything else. They are quick and easy switching between common colors and intensity.
If you need a little more control or would like to control it remotely, then it comes with a remote that adds a few extra kicks to it all. They include a ball-joint tripod thread adapter so that you can install it wherever you need it. Use it on a truss, on a tripod, behind some furniture, around or a corner, or in your hand (the most common use).
This would be great for random headshots and other portrait shots for adding a nice effect.
Battery life is pretty good. We’ll absolutely have to play with it some more to see what the average life is over a period of time. For now, it seems to be lasting more than enough for your typical scenarios.

This light wand features variable brightness in ten steps. The lowest setting has an output equivalent to about a 25 watt incandescent light bulb while the highest setting has is about equivalent to a 75 watt incandescent light bulb. I did not do any scientific measurements, just estimated its comparison to the bulbs mentioned. It takes about 4 hours to charge from a fully depleted battery (USB charging only with included cable, no wall plug). The manufacturer does not recommend operating the light while USB charging cable is plugged in and charging. In a real-world test I conducted with a full battery charge the light on its lowest setting lasted 12 hours continuous, while the highest setting gave me exactly 2 hours continuous before shutting off. At the highest setting, the light and battery compartment get slightly warm but nothing alarming. The lowest setting is still bright enough for studio work if you want to fill in shadows. In addition to the various colors, which are nice and even, there are three whites to choose from: 1.) daylight; 2.) tungsten (warm white); and 3.) an even mix between the tungsten and daylight. There is no variable adjustment between cool and warm white. The light works well with video. I did not notice any flickering even at the lowest setting. It is lightweight, puts out enough light to fill shadows and can act as a key light in a pinch. The horizontal angle of dispersion is 180 degrees but the majority of the light is fixed in a 30 degree wedge in the middle of that spread. I’m going to estimate the vertical dispersion falling off pretty quick at 90 degrees from the center axis. I have no use for the remote control so I cannot comment on it. For the price I think this is a pretty nice light for filling in shadows and adding some accent color as needed.

First and foremost, the brightness of this light wand is INCREDIBLE. With 1000 lumens, it’s much brighter than I anticipated, providing ample light for any situation. Whether I’m shooting in a dimly lit room or outdoors at night, this light has more than enough power to illuminate my subjects perfectly.
The RGB functionality with 9 different colors adds a creative touch to my projects. It’s fantastic for adding unique lighting effects and enhancing the mood of my shots. The adjustable color temperature, ranging from 3200K to 5600K, allows for perfect customization to match different lighting conditions.
The built-in rechargeable battery is highly convenient, offering a decent amount of usage time on a single charge. It eliminates the need for constant battery changes, making it very user-friendly. The included remote control is another excellent feature, allowing for easy adjustments without having to touch the light directly.
Portability is a significant advantage of this light wand. Its handheld design makes it easy to carry and use in various settings. It’s lightweight and compact, making it perfect for on-the-go shoots.
It’s a fantastic addition to any photographer or videographer’s kit. Highly recommended!
