I got this for my son’s 5th birthday. I had to help him understand what the different icons mean when the dog wags his tail. Once he understood and learned them it’s been easy for him to use and is providing a lot of play. It will be a good toy for a few years being that he is on the younger side.
It is useful to download the manual so you understand how to play the different games with your dog. In the app you can customize your dog and create 10 different profiles. And, it’s actually very easy to switch to different profiles on your dog. So if you want a Zippy and a Barky and a…. You’ve got the picture! You can have ten different dogs that like treats, playtime, being a gaurd dog; whatever you choose! Because there are so many options you definitely will have a lot of playtime for this robot dog.
The colours are colourful and bright. The loudness level is just right. I don’t find it too overwhelming like some kid’s toys. It comes with a dog bone which the dog uses in play mode and runs across the floor. So you’ll need some space on a hard floor to move around while playing.
It performs well and is a quality toy at an appropriate price. The battery only takes 75 mins to charge and we get a long time of play in between. This toy has been a blast so far and I recommend it.

We are renting a pet free home and unable to have a pet, and my 7 year old son has been wanting a dog for a few years so we got this for his birthday this year. He loves this little robot dog, and honestly I do too. We were pretty happy to see how easy it is to get a “new” dog (colors, voice, and personality change) if for some reason you want to change it, and even have multiple dog profiles you can switch between. The only thing we haven’t figured out is how to delete one of them without deleting all of them (the forget option doesn’t seem to work on the app). The app is nice, but once you learn how to use the dog’s built in features you can do a lot of it off the app too. I love how responsive this toy is. It instantly responds to the touch and button press inputs, unlike previous toys we’ve had with this kind of feature. Overall it’s been a big hit and really does somewhat scratch that itch of dog ownership that we’ve been missing.
Super quiet not very useful as the waters louder than it. –
My 6-year old daughter loves puppies and she wanted one for Christmas.
Dog-E is a perfect present, it is interactive and very cute.
We downloaded the app for a better experience. She now can feed, play, make dog-e move and change its colors.
I’m glad we got her dog-e. Looks like they’re already best friends.

WOW! This super cute robot dog does SO MUCH. I can’t even believe it. The kids were playing with it for literally hours. They had a blast. First of all, the lights are so much fun and really nice looking. The kids loved how it programs a different dog for each of them that’s unique, so they can even share. They loved all the games. I even tried playing a few of them. They’re simple to learn, but tough to master. Perfect for kids. They also loved pulling it around by the bone. The dog’s run is so cute. You can play with the dog and do a lot without the app, which is great for screen free time. Although the kids for sure loved the app, so I would recommend it. They loved making their own tricks and throwing the dog treats. This is a great interactive toy to keep kids busy. Highly recommend.

He was fully charged right from the box. the App was easy to download to my Iphone. learning how he works is pretty easy as you stroll through the App learning the features and what he can do. I love that he has so many options to personalize him. not just naming, but also various colors for the face and paws and tail. i love that i can have his one eye one color and the other different along with his paws. his wide range of movements. i have not explored the game you can play with him yet. a very playful robot toy. i real like that his controls are through an app on my phone. have much fun with him. only draw back is the other Pups in the house aren’t crazy about him (LOL).

The Dog-E interactive robot dog is an absolute delight! From its adorable design to its impressive array of features, this robotic companion offers endless entertainment and companionship. The lifelike movements and responsive interactions make it feel like a real dog, without the responsibilities of pet ownership. I was amazed by its ability to respond to voice commands, perform tricks, and even play fetch with its included accessories. Plus, the built-in sensors ensure it navigates obstacles smoothly, making it perfect for indoor play. Whether you’re looking for a fun toy for the family or a robotic companion for companionship, the Dog-E interactive robot dog is a must-have. Highly recommended for dog lovers of all ages!

These little robot dogs are really cool. We initially purchased two of them for gifts, then purchased two more after watching how much fun kids were having with them. On startup, each dog configures itself with its own unique set of traits, such as eye shape/color. Some come with all white ears, some come with different colored ears or different colored tongues and each seem to have their own personalities. We noticed that some are more playful, while others just want to be pet. Some of the surfaces of the dog can sense touch and these dogs react to input. Pretty fun to watch.

After a fair amount of back and forth on whether to get a furby, or a Rizmo, or a different robodog, I came across the Mintid Dog E. My son loves it. Firstly it’s very cute, secondly it’s got enough features to keep him entertained. The addition of the app is brilliant and he spent quite a lot of Christmas day writing us messages that were shown on the tail wag. Charge lasts well and the various modes of play are clever. Bought for my 6 year old son, but my 8 year old is equally as interested in it. Also love that you can have multiple dog profiles in one dog which adds a extra level of interest for kids.

My kids were asking for this ever since they saw it on Youtube. Normally I don’t give in so easily to these things but the idea seemed really cool from reviews I read. We finally got ours after a pre-order wait. The instructions say you have to ‘mint’ your dog to see its colors and give it a name before playing. The tail wag is clever the way it communicates with all of the lights and symbols plus the dog noises it makes are a hoot. There are all of these different games you can play. My kids favorite is stay or go, like red light green light. There’s also a neat little trick maker section in the app where they can program different actions. After setting up and playing together for a few days I’m impressed. I guess what I like about it is it’s not a one hit kind of toy. It keeps surprising and engaging the kids. Battery life has held up well too and nice that its rechargable. Would definitely recommend!
