update: i contacted the seller and they responded almost immediately and are sending a replacement. they clarified that although the page says waterproof, they are in fact just resistant to small amounts of water. keep em dry yall! we are otherwise very happy with the watches.
I bought my daughters these watches for Christmas and they have been a huge hot. Perfect for 2 six and a half year olds. However, even though it says they are waterproof they are NOT. My kid had her hands in a bowl of water for less than 2 minutes and her watch is dead. Doesn’t even turn on, black screen. I am of course past the 30 day return window. =( hopefully the seller will help … Will update.

I bought two of these for my granddaughters who are both 5 years old. They loved them and are very tech savy for their age. They felt like they had watches like their parents. They felt sturdy with a little weight to them and not like a piece of junk at the dollar store. My other granddaughters wanted one too, but they are younger and not ready yet for them. Good purchase.

It was a Christmas gift for my 5 year old son. I don’t like that there’s no indication when the watch is charging. .it’s just off until it reaches a certain percentage then it turns on..other then that he loves it , its easy for him to navigate through. 10 out of 10 ! When you get it, if it’s dead it’s not broken just let it charger longer..

Like every parent, we love to hear that the gifts we or rather “santa” give our children – aren’t what they wanted. HOWEVER. I think this is a great starting gift for a child that wants an apple watch. Super realistic. great price and quality.

Everything seemed to work good and my 7yo loves it. However a big issue I have with it is you can have the volume all the way down to silent but it has no affect on games which seem to be obnoxiously loud.
