   I recently had the opportunity to buy the KODAK Step Instant Smartphone Photo Printer and I must say I am quite impressed. This portable mini color printer is the perfect companion for anyone who loves to take and print photos on-the-go.

   First, I was drawn to the cute pink color of the printer, which is compact and lightweight making it easy to take with you wherever you go. The setup process was straightforward and I was able to connect the printer to my smartphone via Bluetooth in no time.

   The KODAK Step Instant Smartphone Photo Printer uses Zink technology, which stands for Zero Ink, meaning there are no ink cartridges to replace. This is a major plus in my book as it eliminates the need for messy ink refills. The printer produces 2×3” sticky-back photos that are vibrant and have a matte finish. I found the print quality to be excellent, with sharp details and true-to-life colors.

   Another great feature of this printer is the KODAK Photo Printer App, which allows you to edit your photos before printing them. You can crop, add filters, text, and even emojis to your photos. This added touch of customization is a fun way to make your prints one-of-a-kind.

   I use the Android Galaxy 23+ Ultra and for some reason the device just doesn’t wanna budge regarding bluetooth. I did all the steps they applied and it just won’t work. I also seen somewhere that a user that was using the 22 had the same dilemma so if you want to use this device- i recommend probably having a device that’d out of date(?)
   I’m not sure. Nonetheless I’m sending this back. I love the idea of it but it just doesn’t wanna work for me at all.

   UPDATE
   I was about to thrift this item considering it wouldn’t connect. Maybe someone else would have better luck than me. But coming to find out, one of the workers figured out that it was just the wrong app i downloaded. The photos came out good- almost like a polaroid feel to them so that’s a plus. Its perfect for anyone who wants to fit their photos into their wallets. I apologize Kodak for my mistake. You deserve 5 stars after my hiccup. I am sorry for leaving a bad review. Thank you for such an amazing, small, convenient and cute device.

   I take lots of photos but rarely do I ever print them out. I bought this little printer so that I could print some of these photos. We travel in our RV and I like to keep some photos of places that we’ve been in the RV on our photo board. I really like it; it’s a lot of fun. The color is pretty good, prints pretty fast, and the little backgrounds that you can stick them to are a fun touch. There’s also some other stickers and frames that you could add to the pictures. I also keep a notebook of all the places that we’ve traveled (with campsite specific info) and I try to keep one picture to represent each place in the notebook. It’s perfect for this.

   The little photo book is handy for keeping photos I’m not hanging up. The carry case is well made & holds quite a bit. I have several packs of paper in it, & the charging cable. The app is easy to use, worked fine on Android phone, and has lots of borders & graphics to use.

   I’ve had this printer just over a year. I’ve printed tons of photos & they have all come out well. I’ve never had a jam. The photos are aligned correctly with good color.

   Overall I really love this printer. The set up is easy, just download the app on your phone and connect via Bluetooth. In the app you choose whatever gallery photo you want to print and just click print. It’s pretty quick. I would say the only “negative” thing I can say about it is that the color isn’t the greatest quality but it’s not significant. These pics are perfect for making cute scrapbooks. I bought mine solely for making vacation scrapbooks. You can adjust the colors in the app if you so choose to though.

   I got this for making little photos for my travel journal. I was able to get it connected to my phone easily, and have used it several times with no problems. The photo quality isn’t superb, but it’s great for my purposes. The photo collage feature is fun. I used very narrow washi tape to make lines between the various photos, otherwise they sort of look like one photo.
   I would definitely recommend this printer.

   I totally love this printer. Bought it in Early Spring 2023, and it absolutely fulfilled my long lasting dream to have a quick way of printing little pictures form the phone, for sticky notes, nice quick memories posters, pinging quotes to someone’s desk etc.

   I used it a lot indeed. My deal little Kodak friend traveled with me everywhere, has seen places from New York to camps in the deepest woods of Prince Edward Island, and it never failed me once. Few times there were some hock ups (1. obviously, when I was camping, network connection was no the best, but I still managed to print a picture at the laundry place there. 2. Once it started to make a white line on the side of the pictures – which was not a big deal, but was fixed by reinstalling app and re- booting/reconnecting printer again).

   Though, I was not using it for the last (probably 4-5) months and now it does not want to turn on. Flashing red all lights when I put on charger.

   I am about to order second printer, the same one. It definitely was Worth buying and served me well for a year. But if anyone knows how to bring it back to life, please let me know. Would appreciate! Thanks

   Note: this is a brilliant device for quick prints. Should be treated as a bundle of joy, but do not expect extreme quality. Pictures turn out pretty nice and a lot is dependent on the cell phone video abilities. When I changed the phone for a better quality picture features, pictures form Kodax started to be so much better quality. But it is still not the same quality, as if you expect from professional photographer.

   I use this printer every time I journal. I love how convenient it is. The only downside is that the picture’s quality comes out a little weird with a slight reddish tone but nothing too major or easily noticeable. The sticky side makes it very easy to just peel and stick right onto my journal. There are more features and templates on the app so you can print up to 4 photos on one sheet, add framing, add stickers etc.

    Love this photo printer! It makes it so easy to print photos for my travel bullet journal / scrapbook. It’s small enough to take anywhere and the quality of the photos is great! I love that the photo paper itself is already adhesive so I don’t have to spend additional money on double sided tape. This has definitely helped amp up my scrapbooking skills!
