On the surface, it might be easy to mistake the Bambino Version 4 with the original Bambino. For this fourth iteration of the timeless collection, we chose to move back to its roots, all the while taking inspiration from previous models along the way. Sure, the signature domed crystal is there, but unlike the original Bambino, the hour markers on the Version 4 are rounded and diamond shaped. The hands are a lot thinner (which is perhaps a hat tip to the Version 2), and the seconds hand has been partially dipped with a red accent. The sunburst dial colors are striking as well: the midnight blue and emerald models feature an ombre-like transition which is most likely attributed to the domed dial. The new Bambino Version 4 has become slight larger, moving away from the traditional 40.5mm width of previous models and instead becoming a modern 42mm across. The movement is identical to those seen in the 2nd Generation Bambino Version 1 and 2 and are completely automatic, hand-winding, hacking. The straps are also unique, especially with the use of color contrast in the leather lining. Additionally, the dark grey colorway is offered on a suede, camel-colored strap!

My Bambino V4 Brown Dial with Gold Bezel is a nice inexpensive watch that looks nicer than its price point. It is reasonably well made and my watch seems to gain about 4 seconds/day. That is within the +/- 15s/d one expects from a mechanical watch. But the self-winding mechanism is noisy and the hand winding is stiff. Looking at the back, the caseback is stamped steel with machined engraved logo. The dial is simple brown and the hour markers are simple. Overall, the fit and finish is acceptable but unexceptional. Clearly, the watch is made to a low price point. It is worth what I paid at Amazon. Time will tell if the watch is reliable.

These Bambino V. 4’s are gorgeous! Pictures dont come close to showing their timeless beauty. I couldnt decide which color but ended up eith the rose gold bezel and couldnt be happier. You cant find a better looking watch at this price point. A Bambino should be in every watch lover’s collection!

Great little dress watch. Value for the $$ is great considering Orient makes their movements ‘in-house’. As long as you treat this piece as an ‘occasonal’ watch it should fill a role in your collection and serve you well. Seller was quick to ship and packaged it well.

The watch arrived about a week earlier than anticipated with no notice.
The packaging was excellent and provided good protection during the delivery.
The watch itself is quite striking, rose gold colored Stainless steel case, very dark brown face with rose gold batons, the face itself is slightly domed and gives a very pleasing highlight to the face, the mineral glass is also domed diving a retro feel.
So far the watch has quite a long power reserve and is as accurate as any of my automatic watches.
All in all very pleased with the purchase so far.

If you are into automatic watches, you know the acclaim the Bambino series has received in the watch cult. I cant remember a relatively inexpensive watch like this ever getting this much acceptance so quickly, or maybe ever. The evident quality and the elegant design are really very nice, regardless of price. The only thing it lacks is a sapphire crystal, which of course is usually unheard of at this price level. And this version in brown is really something special!

This is a wonderful classic watch with a great automatic mechanism.
First time I wore was at an event with 400 people, and I can tell you it’s eye catchy! I got lots of compliments for the watch.
This is new Version 4, with 42.5mm diameter and 22mm bracelet.
It’s a great good looking and high quality watch. You can’t get a better deal for a classic dress watch. In Europe it costs 3x more, at least.

The styling of this model fits either dress or casual wear. The accuracy over a month or so has been close to perfect. It’s been decades since I’ve worn a mechanical watch and as an alternative to my Orient Capitol, I’m very pleased. The watchband provided may not be ideal, but it is softening and can easily be replaced. Given the quality of the watch and the price paid, replacement would not be a deal killer. Orient’s quality is well-known and in its price range hard to beat. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with their products.
