Beautiful automatic watch from a trusted brand in Orient. It’s quickly become a favorite within my collection. The day and date complications are useful, well-executed, and sit nicely within the total dial layout. The layering, textures, and depth within the dial of this watch are wonderful. I was having a lot of trouble deciding on which color to go with. I ended up going with the white dial and I have no regrets. It’s a very elegant and timeless design.
This watch may be too large for some people, however I have an 8-inch wrist so I’m quite happy with the sizing.
Minor criticisms: 1) The band has a deployant clasp and I’m not a fan of those in general. 2) The crown is difficult to pull out.
Note: For the moonphase lovers out there, please note this is not a “true moonphase” watch – the sun and moon complication is an AM/PM indicator on this watch.

I absolutely love the watch but was disappointed to find that the balance wheel broke after a minor bump.
Please see the other listing for this watch as Amazon.com gets warranty support and that’s worth the ~$10 difference.

From a amateur watch collector, what can I say, Orient i one of the best budget brands from japan, the quality of their timepieces is great without breaking the bank, a bit too high the thickness of the watch case, however, the dial it’s very well executed, the guilloche looks fantastic, not a flat design dial. About accuracy I cant say much since I haven’t worn this one yet although it’s sitting within the case waiting for the right time to come out.

I didn’t have high expectations for a $300 watch. I ordered it out of curiosity because of all the rave reviews in the trade magazines. It is a gorgeous watch. It seems to be extremely well built. I did a side by side comparison with several of my $50,000 and $60,000 watches, and it looks just as expensive. It does come from Japan, so expect a 30 day delivery time.
