in this price range you don’t get great sound but its ok sound and lets face it for a practice guitar this is all you need. The action is fine. there is no truss rod so you cannot change action but it is set fine. If you have the money the next step up will cost you 300 more so for most this will have to do.

i have bought 12 guitars through amazon Oscar Schmidt 12 string,nylon string,resonator all my Oscar Schmidt guitars are great.this nylon string guitar has a great deep bass tone and out of all 12 guitars this one is the one my guitar tutor wants me to sell to him /above my dean rust in peace signture model

compre esta guitarra en una venta de almacen asi que sabia que el producto estaria ligeramente maltratado o la caja estaba destruida. La guitarra estaba golpeada nada que afectara su uso pero el modelo era el incorrecto.
La que llego es Oscar Schmidt OC5 que nueva vale aproximadamente 2000 pesos tomando en cuenta que pague 2400 aprox. por esta guitarra golpeada pues no vale la pena estaba anunciada la OC11.

This guitar sounds like a toy. It was the first guitar I played, and everything I did sounded terrible. I understand that a beginner would want a relatively cheap guitar, but you don’t want something that makes a half decent guitarist think they’re awful because nothing makes a good sound. After playing this for a few years, I didn’t bother trying to advance my skill because nothing I did on this sounded good whatsoever. It wasn’t until I picked up a friend’s Martin and played a bit that I realized that I wasn’t the problem, but rather this rubbish “guitar”. Seriously, don’t get this. You can find a 10 times better guitar for not much more money, just do a little more searching if you’re a beginner.
