I have been using this dishwasher for about 6 months now. No issues. I rinse everything off before I put in dishwasher. Use a bit of cascade gel detergent and everything comes out clean on glass cycle (60min). Too small for pots and pans so its not like you never have to wash dishes but has saved me so much time with washing plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, cutlery & other utensils. My upper cabinets are too low to place this by the sink and hook up to the faucet so I have it on a cart from Canadian tire that I also use to dry pots and pans.
I fill the top with a 5L oil container I bought at Canadian Tire. Has a flexible spout that fits perfectly into the top fill reservoir & markers so you can see when its at the 5L mark. Drains into a container I purchased on Amazon that I dump down the sink every 2-3 wash cycles.
I have simple cheap Ikea dinner plates that fit perfectly without needing to slant. It keeps the counters / sink uncluttered. Having a contained storage to put the dirty dishes so they arent stacked beside or in the sink until you wash them is so nice. I hope to eventually hook it up to the the plumbing under the sink as it comes with that option but I would need to figure out if I can sacrifice the space in the lower cabinet beside sink (unlikely without doing some serious alteration).
Perfect for anyone without a built in who is sick of spending half their life standing in front of the sink with dry aging hands from soaking them in dishwasher multiple times a day. I fully recommend.

AIRMSEN Portable Countertop Dishwasher is a great choice for any small kitchen or apartment. It’s lightweight and easy to use and it can easily fit on the countertop or in a cupboard. The dishwashing cycles are powerful and efficient. This dishwasher is an ideal option for anyone who wants to save time and energy when washing dishes. Not to mention, it has an affordable price tag that will fit into anyone’s budget. I don’t know why I didn’t buy this 5 years ago when I moved into my apartment that did not have a dishwasher.
****Note For Anyone Experiencing The Following Problem: Upper Spray Arm Not Turning****
So I started experiencing a slight problem about 3-4 months into using the dishwasher. The upper spray arm would stop rotating during the cleaning cycle. I emailed the company and they offered the following remedy:
The most common culprit as to why the upper spray arm isn’t moving is that debris has built up within the inner workings of the upper spray arm. To fix this, remove the lower tray of the dishwasher to freely access the upper spray arm. Then remove the upper spray arm by turning the large screw by hand. After it’s removed, clean out any debris that has wrapped around the mounting area for the spray arm. This is usually food particles, hair, and other general buildup. Then check the spout nozzles for any blockages. Use a toothpick or a sharp stick to unclog the individual outlets. Then rinse with water to clean out the dirty things in the spouts. Make sure that each outlet is not clogged and re-install the spray arm using the large screw. Please note that the spouts must be facing down. After installation, first manually rotate the spray arm by pushing the upper spray arm with your finger to check whether it runs smoothly. If it runs smoothly, then the problem is solved.
THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR ME! Try this remedy first. If you clean up the upper spray arm and it’s still not rotating, contact the company directly on the Airmsen website and report the issue using the form on the Contact US page. I hope this helps.

We have a studio apartment and needed a small quiet dishwasher. We have owned this one for one month now and love it! Washes well, it’s compact, easy to use and quiet. We use a bucket to drain the water and do not hook it up to a sink. Works perfectly for two people and fits our needs. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

This little machine is great! I waited 3 months to buy one, checking reviews and different sites. Set up was super easy, use friendly and it holds more than I expected. I use the pour in water method and I do use 2 hot and one cold pitcher and I use the speed cycle now which is 30 minutes and cleans just as well as the normal clean which is well over an hour. I have had no issues with this, no leaks, no mess and it’s just been fabulous and has made my life so much easier! I absolutely hate doing dishes by hand. Now it’s not so bad when I only have some pots and pans to do. I highly recommend!

This may be on top of the list of items purchased on Amazon. So practical for my mom who lives alone. This is ideal for 2 people. On express mode, it washes 1 load in 29 minutes and does a damn good job cleaning it. I’m not sure if it’s recommended, but I fill the reservoir with hot water from the tap to make the wash extra hot. It does the perfect job. 1 washing detergent pod I cut up into 2 pieces to use 2 times.
If you are reading these reviews, chances are you are thinking about buying a counter dishwasher… read no more, just buy, you WONT regret it.
Worth every penny!!

I’m at least 70 loads into using and the unit is going strong. Good investment for me and dishes come out more sanitary than handwashing.
I can fit quite a few dishes in one load.
I found the controls fairly intuitive and easy to set.
Couple of drawbacks, hence 4 stars. Would like to give it 4.5.
The unit does not fit under our (standard mount) cabinets next to sink in the cottage where we use it; we had to put it on a kitchen island which fortunately had an oulet. But due to this placement, we cannot use a direct water supply.
The flatware basket has holes in the top that are too small for the width of most handles. I removed the top of basket but now have to be careful to load it in a way that exposes all pieces to water spray.
Large plates and medium/large pans will not fit.
A few tips:
I find using a detergent pod with built-in rinse agent (e.g. , Finish Powerball or Cascade ActionPac tablets) and the Baby Care (longer, hotter) setting gives best results.
For me, using straight Cascade detergent left a powdery film on some types of dishes that did not rinse off.
Clean the filter (inside in bottom) every few loads. It could clog up easily of you forget to scrape something.
When convenient, I stop the wash cycle when it begins drying, tip out any accumulated water from cup bottoms, plasticware etc., then let drying resume. Usually saves me needing to run an extra dry-only cycle.
Anything Unique –
It’s a snug dishwasher but it does the job well. I wish the water you poured the cup into was closer to a side vs the middle but other than that it’s a great product.

I bought this for our RV. I will be installing this in a cupboard under the sink on a pull out rack. I have tested it out at home and here are my thoughts.
I was a variety of dirty dishes and food containers with dried on gunk. I used the fast 29 min) setting and they came out sparkling and after the standard 60 min dry cycle they were dry and clean. So cleans well with. Holds a reasonable amount of non standard dishes. Is vey quiet. Used very little water.
I like the light. I like the various modes.
All good up to here.
However, if I was using it as a counter top unit it would be an issue. It’s too tall to fit under my upper cabinets by about an inch. If your counter doesn’t have overhead cupboards this is great. So check the location where you intend to put it to make sure it fits.

We purchased this for our cabin and chose it because of its dish load capacity. We don’t have it hooked up to water; instead, we fill it up manually and appreciate that it doesn’t use too much water. There are several settings, and it washes and dries in less than an hour and a half. The dishes come out really clean. This was worth every penny.

I bought this dishwasher because my busy work schedule has me exhausted at the end of the day. I can easily fit my lunch containers, breakfast and dinner dishes. I didn’t have to hook up anything to the faucet or pipes. The outlet hose installation was a breeze. The washer won’t start until you fill the tank and there is a visual and audible notification for when you have added enough water. This dishwasher makes practically no noise and the window is a nice touch. All of the filters are easy to access and clean. The only downside I had was it couldn’t fit on my countertop. A sturdy table will do. Even with that slight inconvenience, five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a great washer, when it comes to stain and grease removal it works well, doesn’t leave a residue(depending on your detergent) but my boyfriend especially is in love with it! Only this is it gobbles up water fast if your not connecting it to a sink. I’d say 2 gallon last about maybe 3 or 4 loads… the drying and disinfecting takes a while too but does the job so I can’t complain. Just be ready to do dishes for a whole day if you have a lot of dishes!

I LOVE this countertop dishwasher! Works so well and saves me so much time, now that I don’t have to wash each and every bowl, plate, and utensil by hand! I have 7 detailed tips below, but here’s the “too long didn’t read version” if you’re pressed for time:
TLDR: 1-Use gel dishwasher detergent NOT powdered!
2-Do not use dishwasher detergent pods—they’re way too large for these small units!
3-Rinse well everything you put into this dishwasher! Plates with sticky or dried-on foods or knives with a layer of Mayonnaise still on them may not come completely clean.
4-Clean the filter (rinse it) and wipe the unit out regularly with a damp cloth.
5-If the top piece of the silverware basket is being a pain, you can remove it—it really doesn’t make much of a difference in how well your silverware gets cleaned.
6-If you are able to hook up the supplied hose to your kitchen faucet, do that instead of using the supplied jug to fill the unit with water. It saves time.
7-Register your product on Airmsen’s website and they’ll approve you for a 1-year warranty (Amazon gives a 30-day warranty).
Now, here’s the detailed version of the tips that have helped me in my 2-month relationship with this dishwasher—he treats me so well! Yes it’s a “he” 😉
1-He’s happier with gel detergent than with powdered detergent. The manual says that powdered or gel detergent can be used, but that’s not true at all! The powder detergent has small granules that cause his spray arms to get stuck so they stop spinning. If you don’t catch this, he won’t clean your dishes properly for you. You can fix him by manually spinning his arms a few times until you’re confident he can spin them continuously on his own for the rest of the cycle, but this is such a pain and makes him out to be pretty high-maintenance! You get the detergent water all over your hands (not good) and you can’t just start the cycle and walk away cuz you have to babysit him for the first few minutes! If you already have the powdered detergent it’s not the end of the world. Just stir a Tablespoon (and no more) of the powder into a cup of hot tap water before adding it to his main compartment (make sure to pour it into his main compartment NOT into his top water tank AND, wait until he’s drained before adding the detergent—he drains at the start of every cycle). Unfortunately, I bought powdered detergent for him when I first bought him. He didn’t like that so he made me dissolve it in water for each load, but that got old really fast, especially when I was in a hurry! So I went and bought him some gel detergent and since then, he’s been much happier and so have I! Learn from my mistake and you’ll be thankful you did. 😉
2-He also doesn’t like dishwasher detergent pods. They’re way too much detergent for him at once and he likely won’t be able to completely dissolve it by the end of his cycle. The detergent holder at the bottom of his door holds about 1 tablespoon of detergent, which is all he needs to wash my dishes perfectly. 😉 This is a case of less is more!
3-He loves it when I rinse my dishes, silverware and utensils really well. While he works really great, he just doesn’t have the same washing capability as his older brother, the standard home dishwasher (sorry to say buddy), so he can’t reach as many nooks and crannies. Thick layers of grease or sauces, stuck/dried on food particles, and any food particles in general likely won’t be washed off completely. Tip: rinse dishes, silverware and utensils as soon as you’re done with them or leave them to soak if you won’t be putting a load of dishes on right away. This has saved me lots of time and elbow grease! 😉
4-Make sure to clean his filter and give him a sponge bath regularly. Every 1-2 loads for his filter and every 3-5 loads for sponge baths. The less gunk in his filter, the easier it is to clean. And, I wasn’t cleaning him as often as I should have and I’ve noticed he has hard water deposits now.
5-Sometimes I take away the top piece of his silverware basket if it’s being bad. It’s not always needed and it detaches from the basket base far too easily. Besides, I don’t find it makes a huge difference in how well this guy’s able to clean my silverware—he makes it squeaky clean every time with or without that top piece, and I usually have a good amount of silverware in each load (at least 7 pieces).
6-If I had the option to hook up the hose that came in his box to my kitchen faucet, I would much prefer to do that vs using the jug that also came with him. He’s pretty thirsty and using a jug to quench his thirst can be a bit of a pain, but he’s worth it I suppose. 😉
7-I’ve registered him on the Airmsen website. Airmsen offers a 1-year warranty, while Amazon offers a 30-day warranty. It’s definitely worth it if he breaks after the 30 days! I hope he doesn’t though, cuz he’s the best relationship (aka purchase) I’ve ever had—hands down! 😉
Hope these tips helped you and if they did, please mark my review as helpful! I’ll be sure to add more tips I learn along the way in my relationship with this special guy! 😉 Thanks for reading! 🙂
