Updated since my original review:
The seller/company was beyond exceptional in reaching out to me to make amends for my experience with the puppy. I recieved a full refund once I sent it back, and was offered a different toy/product from their store at no additional cost. Not to mention how I don’t check my Amazon messages ever so it’s been several months since I returned the puppy yet I got multiple messages from the company determined to send complimentary toy of my choice. When I responded with what I wanted, they even suggested I take a more updated batch that was priced more than the one I had chosen. So the original toy may have been a disappointment, but that matters not because the store more than made up for it with their resolve to make sure I was satisfied, my expectations were certainly exceeded.
Original review of the puppy:
Everything came with the product and it all worked fine, however, there are several kinks that should be wired out. One, it barks way too much. It can “run” forward, “walk” forward, lunge forward, sit, sit up, stand on it’s hind legs, stand on hind legs while it turns, and it’ll dance, but there’s only one song that it dances to. It has bones that you can program to do a series of those same tricks, which you can also do with the remote, but it only stays programmed to do the set of tricks once so having more than one or two bones is unnecessary and the hassle of programming him to do it isn’t worth it when you only get the same old tricks anyway. The wheels get caught on stuff or get clogged easily on hard floors, especially if you have other actual pets that shed hair. It doesn’t work very well or quickly on carpet, stairs are a no as well since it can’t climb and/or would probably fall down them. There are three modes: one being that it works with the remote (works fine but has a very short range, like a few feet and with nothing blocking the puppy from the red light on the remote), the second mode is supposed to be motion sensing and that works something awful. (Any motion makes it lunge at you barking, it doesn’t give you the chance to actually make any specific motions, and when you do it has to be literally right in front of it’s face), the third mode is supposed to make it so the puppy navigates it’s way around the house, avoiding anything it sees with it’s sensors, HOWEVER, it doesn’t see anything above, nor below, it’s eye level, nor can it tell when it’s running into something it can’t see. So basically, it still attempts to walk even when it can’t and you hear all the gears and stuff still trying to force it and making that *whirring* sound that doesn’t sound healthy for it at all.
Do you know how many items are specifically 5in off the ground in my house? And apparently, walls don’t fall in the category of what it can see either…

Great toy, granddaughter loves it! However, one of the program keys (treats) is missing one of the four contact strips and does not work, it is the right turn program key (see picture). Yet she loves this toy with just the remote and the hand gesture mode. At some point she will want to program it to do her bidding, but for now she is very happy. Oh and to TURN on/off you have to hold down the unicorn horn for a few seconds until you see it light up or go off, you will hear a click when you have properly activated the switch. Push horn forward towards the nose is how this one turns on/off.
Update, same day: Company contacted my wife within an hour and are sending an entire package of new program keys (treats), now THAT is customer service right there, Top of the shelf company and satisfaction, Thanks.

My 4 yr old Grandaughter loves this remote control unicorn. It has many features from music, sleeping and horse sounds, dancing, sit, stand on hind legs to following you around. It is very easy to set up just plug in to charge, after 1 hr. It was ready to go. Each bone has a chip within it for an easy command. It is very entertaining and fun. Well worth the money and a great gift as well.

My soon to be 5 year old grandson asked for this for his birthday. I thought it was going to be a cheesy cheap toy he’d ignore 2 seconds after I gave it to him. Well idk what he’s going to think but I charged it and played with it for like 15 minutes. It’s so adorable and fun. It has cute sounds and moves in different directions. It has light up eyes to tell you if the battery is charged or not. I haven’t figured out the food you feed to it yet though. Apparently it makes the cat move different ways but I can do that with the remote control. I think he’ll love it.

This unicorn is so cute and it does so many things. She turns on by pressing and holding down the unicorn horn. This was sorta weird at first cause you have to press down on the bottom of the horn.
You can switch the eye color to change her features if you press down quickly on her unicorn horn. Blue is remote control mode, red is navigate mode (she moves on her own), and purple is used with the treats you feed it. She’ll do her own tricks! There is a button on the remote called “Dance”, when you press it she does a little jig with music that she plays.
It comes with a USB charger so you don’t have to use battery for her, it does take a long time to charge but I prefer that over having to change out batteries all the time. Only downfall is that she is pretty loud, other than that my 4 year old girl and 7 year old boy really love it!

It’ was a gift, so I only can say they are enjoying the toy. The only thing I was told was It was hard to find how to activate the toy. Apparently they couldn’t find that information.

My grandkids (ages 5-10) all love these robots and I’m impressed with the features for the price. I got the unicorn and dog. They can be trained, use with hand gestures, dance, and have different modes with a remote control. Highly recommended.
