I’m a professional mason/tile setter. I’ve used this on the job for a year and a half. This is probably some of the most extreme abuse a watch could ever get. I’ve scratched the face up and chipped the lens. But the fact that a all mechanical watch is still working great after all of the mortar, grouting and strikes from tile pieces is incredible

Love this watch thus far. You can see through it and it’s received many compliments on my wrist.

My two sons got this for me as a birthday gift.
Great looking watch, with a clear glass on the front and back to see gears. Automatic so need for a battery and if you only wear it every so often you can wined it up. Over all a great buy for the money.

I own several nice men’s Fossil brand watches (Relics parent company) and have been happy with all of them.
I’m going to start with the problems, because if a watch doesn’t function, then its purely jewelry.
First, the biggest problem is apparently a design flaw that allow moisture to enter the watch. I suspect moisture is entering through the “stem”. Once inside, this will cause a fogging effect under the watch face that comes and goes . I have not submerged this watch at all, I have washed my hands with the watch on without running water directly on the watch.
This is the second Relic watch of this style that has done this condensation, the other being a silver banded version of same watch. My wife had to return that one to a local department store. I thought I would give this one another try since I liked the watch concept and looks.
The complete deal breaker is now the watch will not keep time. It will stop after a fews hours even after manually winding the spring.
I did notice the band on the version “squeaks” after a few days of wear. I put a little oil in between the links and it went away.
All in all, the watch had such promise but it falls short in functionality. I think those of us who like the automatic concept would at least want a working watch.

So it’s not by any means a good watch generally speaking. The ion finish on the band will rub off fairly easily if someone works at a desk. The Chinese movement that’s being used is on the rough side, it’s made to look cool through the watch, but that’s it. Mine runs a bit slow, and the hands are pretty loose, they rarely line up like they’re supposed to, etc.
However even with all this, if you consider what the watch is for its price, it’s pretty great. It’s the cheapest watch in my collection and I bought it purely so I can see the movement in full. It’s like a little wonder on my wrist.
I don’t recommend this as a gift unless the person you’re giving it to really won’t care about it not lasting more than a year or two. Would be good for a teenager or maybe a college kid.
I’m probably gonna get a stand for it and just keep it on my desk at work as something to gaze at while I’m thinking.

This watch looks super flashy and James Bondish in the light but can be a bit hard to read in the dim settings. I’ve had compliments on it for sure, which is pretty nice considering the price point. I imagine the darkened steel may scuff over time and reveal the natural bright sheen beneath, but for now it’s neat. The crystal is pretty reflective unfortunately, but it is very clear also. I like that the metal components inside are not brushed steel but quite smooth instead, making it look more pro than other open heart / skeleton watches. I wound it two days ago and it’s only lost around 4 seconds or so, so that’s not bad for an automatic watch with standard gear sizes. I love it overall! Two photos are taken in obviously brighter and dimmer settings for presentation example.

I was quite unsure when I bought this watch, because I had read certain reviews. There seemed to be quality control issues, and if you got a good one you were in good shape, but that it was a crapshoot.
However, many of the main complaints that I read were from many years ago, so my hope was that they had had time to iron out the kinks.
I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I do know that it works perfectly! I’ve been wearing it daily for months now. It keeps time very well, and the “auto-wind” functionality is perfect.
I genuinely couldn’t be happier. And on top of all of that, it looks GREAT! Sometimes I enjoy just watching the little flywheel snap back and forth, it’s quite mesmerizing.
I also found that the “band squeaking” complaint is not an issue. After wearing it for just a day, giving it a chance to break itself I’m, there was no longer any band noise.
I have not tested the waterproof-ness, because I’m not willing to risk destroying it. I just take it off before showers or swimming. There is no backlight or glowing material, so it’s difficult to read in low light. These are small complaints, all things considered.
I definitely recommend this watch for anybody looking for a really handsome, mechanical watch without breaking the bank.
I will likely get another one after this one breaks. (Providing it lasts long enough)
