Not flashy. Just cool. High quality. This is my second Seiko in this style. Wore my first one (gold colored) into the ground over the course of several years. I like the look of this new one (silver) even more.

I have a watch collection of about 12 watches. I was looking for a dress watch and was eyeing a Cartier Tank. I had never worn a tank-style watch and wasn’t sure the shape was for me. So instead of spending a few thousand bucks to find out if I liked the style, I went the route of the trusty Seiko. I could not be more pleased with this watch. The size is great and the dial is uncluttered and easy to read. There are no lumens…it’s a dress watch after all. The tiny crown is delicate and elegant against the thin case and it has beautiful proportions. The band took a minute to break in and honestly, it felt subpar before it was comfortable. This may be due in part to the fact that my daily watch is a 40mm diver with a stainless steel bracelet so I am used to more heft.
I bought this as a dress watch but I like it so much and have gotten so many compliments on it that I find myself dressing it down instead. It will be my light summer watch for all occasions I have a feeling. So far as the Cartier goes, I can wait for now because this watch is just that good.

I’m in my late 70s and though I carry a smart phone, I normally don’t refer to the phone to tell the time…makes no sense to me to pull out the phone to look at the time when a quick glance at my wrist is quicker.
Of course that may just be habit, after all, 7 decades is enough time to make any habit almost impossible to break especially since I’ve worn a watch since childhood.
Though all my other watches have round faces, the thought of a classic “tank” style watch has intrigued me for years, so I pulled the trigger on this one as I’m not about to spend the thousands of dollars on a Cartier at my age.
This is Sieko’s model of a tank watch and it looks remarkably like the original design.
Did have a few disconcerting minutes getting used to the shape on my wrist, but I’m over it…this may become my every day watch.
I’ve had Sieko watches before and trust the quartz movements to keep accurate time and am sure this will be no different and it looks GOOD,
At this price, I’d recommend it and it will set huge wearer apart from the masses.

This watch is an obvious nod to the Cartier classic tank watch, but it stands apart with the Arabic numbers and Champagne face which pairs well with the gold case and eel skin(?) strap. It is surprisingly wearable as an everyday watch. Wears well on my 7″ wrist. The price is low because of the quartz movement, but who cares. Quartz is great as a reliable and accurate set-it-and-forget-it everyday watch or that dress watch you seldom wear and want to be able to throw it on without worrying about winding and setting it. Buy it. You’ll get a lot of wear out of it.

I wasn’t sure if buying a watch like this on Amazon would be legit, but I decided to risk it. I’m a bit of a “Seikopath”; It showed up in a real seiko box. And I was stunned when I opened it up it is such a beautiful piece. The band is not what I expected! It has more of a brown tinge to it, and the inside of the strap has a very nice soft leather meticulously sewn in. It’s very comfortable to wear. All around, you really can’t go wrong for the price. Purchased this for $227 with shipping included.

I wanted an analog watch that I can use while I work (professional setting) that I could use regularly and this checks that box so well. Looks classy, the size isn’t overly obnoxious, and feels good while I wear it. The straps are a bit stiff when it’s new, so you’ll have to mold them to the contour of your wrist, which took me 2-3 days and only really bothered me the first day because I could feel it not being centered. Not enough to be considered a complaint.

I had no idea Seiko was selling Cartier Tanks for $145. Hella good deal. Buy it. You’ll love it. The dial is actually smaller than it appears in photos, so the size is perfect. Wrist size 7.25”

ベルトも含め高級感がありコストパフォーマンスは最高かと思います。
最初は革ベルトが固く、若干チープ時計の様に感じましたが、1日着用すればすぐに馴染む印象です。
カルティエと比較し時計自体の性能は分かりませんが実際こちらの方が圧倒的に使用しやすいのではと感じました。
30万オーバーの時計でもガシガシ使用できる様な生活水準では無いので本当にありがたい時計です。
