I collect Seiko and I have not seen an Automatic Seiko under $100 until this one. The black stainless steel in person is so nice to look at, especially with the black dial and silver/red accents. The size is perfect is well at 38 mm. I highly recommend this watch.

This is my fifth Seiko watch, having purchased my first one over 30 years ago. I still have them all and they work as well as they did the first day I put them on. However, this is my first mechanical watch (no battery) which I have wanted for some time but was hesitant to make the purchase. I am glad I did as I find this watch as good as my other Seiko watches.

Bu fiyata alınabilecek iyi bir seiko 5. Ben küçük saat sevdiğim için aldım ama görseldeki kadar büyük olmadığını göz önünde bulundurmak lazım. Küçük olduğu için kalınlık biraz daha öne çıkıyor. 1975 üretimli TV kasa seiko 5’imle karşılaştırdım. kalınlık aynı ama şekil ve boyuttan dolayı bu daha kalın görünüyor. Bunun dışında bileziğin değişmesinin zor olacağını düşünüyorum. Yani hadi bir deri kayış takayım demeniz pek mümkün değil. İki günde zaman tutmasında yaklaşık yarım dakikalık bir + fark oldu. Henüz kolumdan çıkarmadığım için güç rezervini ölçemedim ama bunda da sorun olacağını sanmıyorum. Elle kurma yok, sadece otomatik.

Clearly a starter watch for those getting into collecting, but still a notch above the typical watches worn by non-watch people. I wear it daily and enjoy it. It loses a few minutes over time but that’s not a big deal for me. Amazing price makes it easily worth buying.

Good looking watch but (as others have indicated) the power reserve is no where near what it should be. Advertised (not on Amazon) as having a reserve of 40+ hours but I got nowhere near that after a few tries.
Strap is integrated which would make replacing it challenging but not impossible.
Amazon are refunding for faulty item.

This model caught my eye because of the black look (and red second hand) and because it is a 38 mm case, a size that fits my wrist better. The look is nicely sporty, and the finish is clean. The watch comes with enough links in the bracelet to fit large wrists, but it is easy to adjust–there are lots of YouTube videos to tell you how you can do it yourself. The red second hand adds a nice visual flourish against the black dial. By the way, the bezel is fixed so it has no other function except as a design touch. From the look and feel point of view, it’s beautiful.
My main dress watch is a bigger Seiko automatic and I have had other automatics before, but this is the first one where I found the movement is wound purely by the watch movement through the rotor. All my other automatics I have been able to “power up” by winding the mainspring through the crown. Apparently this is because the movement in this watch (7S26-02T0) is on the lower end, although apparently it is a very dependable and well regarded workhorse. If you wear the watch fully during the day, the movement of the rotor will make the power reserve always topped up for the watch to run well.
The seller provided excellent service and the watch was delivered within a week all the way from Japan–made it for Christmas!
There are similar models in Amazon that looks to be the same, but with the product number of SNKE03J1. I’m not sure what the differences are, but the price of that listing is quite a bit higher than this one.
