Es un reloj de vestir que trae una correa con costuras que sobresalen en color blanco y te da una apariencia deportiva. Me encantó. Ligero con cristal de safiro.Y sobre todo los 100 metros de resistencia al agua. Lumen de calidad como todo Seiko. Por el precio una belleza.

While, at +77 years of age, I focus on collecting and restoring 19th Century Pocket Watches, I also repair standard wrist watches as well. I have owned and enjoyed a number of very high-quality watches – Rolex, Breitling, Fortis, etc. as well as Seiko Hi-Beat which stands with any of the others. SEIKO makes an excellent watch – mechanical and quartz movements. On arrival, I put this Seiko Essentials Day/Date on my Tester and immediately confirmed the Piezoelectric Tuning fork was vibrating correctly at 32,768 KHZ with confirmed coil continuity. I personally enjoy the elegant straight-forward dial + day/date feature. Wrist watch rear case covers come essentially in two flavors – pop-off or screw-down. You’ll find virtually ALL quality watches feature a screw-down rear case lid as does this SEIKO Model SUR449 – offering a much greater water resistant factor and guard against debris intrusion. It comes with an excellent mineral glass crystal and is warranted for 100 Meters of water resistance (= 328′ underwater at 141 PSI of pressure) good for Surfing/Snorkeling/Spear Fishing. I’m too old for such effort, but will enjoy my Seiko Essentials watch at dinners with my friends. My highest recommendation, buy with confidence. JCH

Good one and perfectly feet for me.

Love the dial layout, and it keeps excellent time. Seconds hand seems to be well calibrated to the indices.

I have had 4 Seiko watches and like them all – still have 3, one was lost after 20+ years of service. This one is just slightly larger than an old fashioned men’s size watch (which I prefer), not as oversized as most now. The 5 min markes are very large, and the hands and min dots are large enough to be easily readable. The “champaign” face (= light gold) is a bit similar to the hands, so the contrast is just enough. The calfskin band is a bit narrower than most, but is supper comfortable, and helps to lighten the weight, making the overall comfort higher. One unexpected feature I like is that the minute marks on on a beveled ring, which adds a nice texture to the look. Amazon spec says made in China, but the watch back states Japan. Also states 10 bar (the higher waterproof spec) and saphire crystal (which I think is pretty durable). I recommend it.

This timepiece not only boasts a fantastic aesthetic appeal but also offers incredible value. Perfect for those seeking a touch of sophistication, this watch is sure to turn heads as you stroll through the office corridor. A must-have for anyone who appreciates class and style. This SEIKO watch is a true gem that combines elegance with practical features, making it an excellent choice for both fashion and function.

I wanted a quartz watch from Seiko because they made the first quartz movement watch ever.
I chose this one over the Solar model because I liked the aesthetics of the silver dial more. I also didn’t like how the solar model said “Solar” in white text that was a different font than Seiko.
It’s slim, not too ostentacious, and the strap is nice enough to not replace.
It’s a solid, sleek, quiet (no “ticking”) watch.
