Directly inspired by military-issued designs from decades past, our Field Post 38 Mechanical watch does more than look the part — it features a sturdy crown and screw-down case back giving it 100 meters of water resistance, plus luminous hands and dial markings, a hand-winding mechanical movement and an impressively-tough anti-reflective sapphire crystal. All that functionality comes in a 38mm stainless-steel case — perfectly sized for nearly every wrist and every occasion — fitted with a comfortable brown Ecco™ DriTan™ leather strap that was crafted to last using eco-friendly methods. For the mechanical movement – Wind the crown until you feel a slight resistance. This is best done at the same time each day to keep the watch continually running.

Reliable accurate and great for off grid and travel.

I own both this and the Hammy, and this is by far my favorite. Because one, its not glass-fragile, and looking at the construction and finishing, if you took the names off of each I couldnt tell the difference.
The hammy is more accurate, but not enough to make me pay 2-3x the price.

I was wanting an everyday no frills watch. Not too many around any longer. Ordered another great brand but it broke during set up. Thankfully that happened. This watch is FAR greater quality. Superior fit and finish. Surprisingly heavy for its size and I like that. Feels like the old days. The winding mechanism is solid with no wobble or loose feeling. The bezel is fabulous. Sapphire crystal. No bell. No buzzers. Super quiet. The factory stock pictures do it NO justice. The leather strap is very nice. If you want an extremely nice wind up watch (hard to find for sure – cant understand why more are not out there – as a matter of fact i think this is the only one that I found), do not hesitate to snap one of these up. I feel you will be surprised and well pleased just as I am. I always liked Timex watches back in the day. They actually have some pretty cool ones now and some sweet re-issue’s. The diameter is smaller so that it doesn’t catch on anything – military style – Field Watch – that’s why it’s a bit smaller in diameter. If you’re looking for a back to nature, sick and tired of battery operated house makers then this is for you. (I have those too and I love ’em for the right thing but sometimes I want old school ya know?) This watch will fit right in with my ’56 Lincoln Premier Coupe – no digital back then! Enjoy!
