Awesome for kids. They get to play what they want and slap the side to change songs or stories. Magnets work really well with playing the music. Highly recommend.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She is a little older than maybe some users since she is 6. But she has absolutely loved this thing. It was very annoying to set up but once we got it going, she has used it probably every day. We bought several other tonies to go with it. She will bring it in the living room while she is playing and sing along to whatever character she chose and she uses it at bedtime to put her to sleep. She always wanted to sleep with mom and dad and this has made it easier for her to sleep on her own. We keep the charger on her nightstand so it is always ready to go. I tell her to pick a character and turn her box on and she chooses whatever she wants and it keeps her calm and helps her fall asleep. I wish I had bought one of these sooner.

UPDATE: even more now than before, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. IT’S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
This has been the BIGGEST hassle and annoyance. Again, was so excited for this for our 2 1/2 year old for Christmas, literally bought 5 tonies to go with it, and it’s been such a mistake. I’m returning our now SECOND toniebox because IT DOESNT WORK. Going to go by the Yoto because I know for a fact it doesn’t have these issues.
We exchanged our first toniebox because it would not connect to the app, even after doing every possible “troubleshoot,” had to wait another 10+ days for the new one to get here, ONLY TO HAVE MORE ISSUES. Had to try multiple times, but finally got it to connect to their dumb app. Then every single tonie I put on, it wouldn’t let me go to the next song. It was make a song and just shut off. Now I’m sitting here with a toniebox that’s literally on the charger, THAT WILL NOT TURN ON AT ALL. Like it just isn’t working even a little bit. So I’ll just say this one more time, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY. Because it is just that, a waste. So annoyed with how expensive such a cheap product is.
FIRST REVIEW: We just got this for Christmas & it’s been several days since the first time trying to set it up. We’ve now spent way too much time trying to get our Toniebox to connect and play things and it still won’t. We’ve reached out to customer service, and they give us one of the other code problems, which still hasn’t fixed our problem. Now we can’t get ahold of them again. Our toniebox won’t connect at all to the app. We were looking forward to giving this to our toddler for Christmas – we bought 4 tonies and thought it’d be great. Welllll don’t waste your time or money :/ or the hype of it for your kid cause you’ll be disappointed. This was one of our more exciting Christmas gifts and it’s a bust. Toniebox tried to make it way more complicated than they should’ve. No one cares to have wifi connected to their children’s toys. We don’t like having an app to have to have our kids entertained. It would’ve been so much better if you could just play the music by putting on a tonie. Instead you have to set everything up through the app, with wifi. Well of course there are million different technical issues it has. We’ll probably return ours considering we still can’t get it to play days later. For such an expensive children’s toy, it sure doesn’t work like it should. Again, still no luck on getting it to connect to the app or have someone answer us. So disappointed there was so much hype on this.

Si je comprends bien, on peut seulement avancer les chapitres dans des histoires et non avancer d’une chanson. C’est dommage… Aussi on a payé 60$ de frais de douanes. À considérer.

It doesn’t work without being plugged in. Additionally the feature to skip doesn’t work because it bumps the device off the charger slightly, turning it off.

Creo que es mi nueva cosa favorita para mi bebé, definitivamente lo recomiendo para otras personas con bebés o niños pequeños. Y si pueden conseguir más figuras con canciones o cuentos, mejor. Fácil de instalar y de usar, práctico y además es suave.

This thing had us quitting screens cold turkey. I thought it was a gimmicky product like those tumblers that rhyme with “manly”… but honestly my kid takes this thing EVERYWHERE. She loves her tonies more than any other toy we have and trust me… we have them all. If this thing ever dies on me I will have to either get it same-day delivered or RUN to the closest store that sells them. She literally could care less that she doesn’t have an iPad anymore. And as a mom, I’m so grateful for the headphones plug.
This photo is from nap time. She just sits and plays with her tonie quietly. Doesn’t even care if I come to get her from nap time. She’s just happy playing her songs and her stories.

The kids love the Tonie, it did have an operational problem when received the good news is it was taken care of over the phone and only a short delay before it could be enjoyed. Now that’s customer service!
The kids have been loving this product.

loved everything about these audio box- durable, great selection of tonies to collect and east to use even for very young kids, would recommend this for all family with kids under 6, great source of entertainment for various you g age groups thanks to the wide ranging choice of tonies. The tonies itself are pretty durable and can withstand my one year old’s throwing antics

My toddler uses it everyday and doesn’t get tired of it. Suitable for 1.5 years and above.
Cons-
The product and the figures are so expensive. Some figures have just 30 minutes of soundtrack. Even the charging station is unique, and you have to buy special usb connector. Hard to setup and edit songs. Bad app.

I got this for my Grandloves. My Grandson is almost 3 years old and he loves it! He can change the tonies by himself., very easy to do. He especially loves the one that I made him- me reading some of his favorite books. It’s cute and seems very durable.

Gotta say I was worried because I was having a hard time getting this set up. The Toniebox couldn’t connect to wifi for me. My husband walked in the room and set it up in 5 minutes 🤷🏻♀️ I have no idea what he did but it worked. Clearly, this device has caused some people to get frustrated with the setup but I guess if you are tech savvy like my husband is, you will be able to connect it right away. Anyway, the magnetic feature is strong which I really appreciate. Our 21 month old figured this thing out in 10 minutes when we let him sample it. It will be a great Christmas present! Speaking of which, if you are gifting this to someone for a birthday or Christmas, I would set it up in advance so the day of isn’t stressful.
