This intrigued me, so I got it for the kids. The boy child really liked it, although he initially seemed to think it would be more like a 3D combination puzzle, such as that famous “Cube”. Nevertheless, we both enjoyed playing with it and he has been playing with it when he gets board. Great gift!

This game is very interactive. You select the game you want to play… one of 4 games or watch a light show, make music, adjust volume, turn off, or play a 2 player mode which is when two kids work together to push the button that is lit up. It reminds me of a rubix cube but it does not move. It’s larger than a rubix too. It lights up, you select a game…
1. “CATCH ME” game where the child chases the button that is lit up in any order. It is a timed game so if the child takes more than 7 seconds to press the lit button it gives a “honk” sound to end the game… then goes back to the music and “select game” It’s a male voice that speaks.
2. “LIGHT-SHOW” is just that… music and a light show. The music is the same as the starting music when you turn it on.
3. “FOLLOW ME” game… this is complicated… a red blue and yellow button will light up on one side and the child just press that same button on the side that is red blue or yellow. It took me a while to figure this game out and I’m an adult.
4. “REMEMBER ME” is like Simon says. The cube will say a color starting with three colors then add a color to the order if you get it right. You can press any one of the buttons as long as it’s in the same color in the same order.
5. MAKE MUSIC” the child presses any button and it makes a different sound. Kids love this one! (But it doesn’t teach them anything)
6 “CHASE ME” is when the child pushes the buttons when they see it light up…. They have to move fast! There are lots of colored lights that light up!
This is a great game for 8-10 year olds.

I’ve bought this for my six year old, but it turns out to pack a punch of fun for everyone. My one word of advice is to keep the instructions because it has different games that you need to know how to play the game to use it, it doesn’t speak the instructions to you without said my whole family play this game while we’re driving in the car or sitting waiting. The sound quality is good and can be adjusted as well as the overall performance is great it is not an educational toy per se, but it definitely tests agility and fine motor skills it’s really well worth it’s weight in gold.
