Item as described. I would encourage getting the longer power cord if this is for outside usage. The cam is seated in a swivel that is very fragile, so be gentle with it.
Read any instructions on the numerous setting this Cam offers. Finding the right night vision settings for use outdoors, took me a few days of making modifications to get good footage on the videos, when sound or motion activated the Cam. Overall a good purchase and will consider getting more for monitoring other areas of the property

Nice little camera, came in a small box with no instructions. This made set up somewhat difficult, but because I own a few other security cameras, I already understood how to do it. For the most part, it works well. It captures video the way it’s supposed to, the picture is alright, but what do you expect for such a cheap price? So far, it works the way it’s supposed to, so I have no complaints.

Summary is this is a great value for the price. Pros include, very small footprint, very easy to connect and install, good daylight picture quality and “OK” night vision. It is a fixed position camera but can be adjusted for just about any desired angle. I was hesitant to buy because they emphasize this is a “plug-in” camera. That can imply that it is not WIFI connectable and requires ethernet cable. But it is easily WIFI connectable and only requires a USB cable to “plug-in” for power. The Cons are it probably has a lot of features but you’ll have to pay a significant subscription fee to access. And, they are not bashful to let you know. Practically everything you click in the app takes you to a pay to use sign-up page. You can record motion detection for free on a micro SD card. But the videos are very short, has significant lag time and you may likely miss what actually triggered the alarm. I’d actually prefer that they adjust purchase price to include basic features, the constant “begging” is annoying. But if you want a decent quality fixed camera that you can live stream, it’s hard to beat for the money.

Works great. Clear picture. They over a free plan but have to resubscribe monthly but offer a very good price on the annual plan. Very happy with product. I had a hole were previous owners had a camera above the garage just ran an extension cord through to outlet in garage. Very easy install. Highly recommend.

I recently got two WYZE Cam OG 1080p HD Wi-Fi Security Cameras to monitor my chicken coop and run, and they’ve been fantastic. The 1080P HD video quality with color night vision is impressive, allowing me to keep an eye on my chickens day or night.
Setting them up was easy, both indoors and outdoors, thanks to the IP65 rating and the included stand and wall mount. The two-way audio feature is handy for checking in and even talking to my chickens if needed. For the price point, this camera is worth every dollar. Just made the switch from Blink to Wyze and what a difference! 24/7 continuous recording is very good, you can even go to playback and record video/photo of anything you need to. Very responsive and does a fabulous job at distinguishing who or what is on your property (person, pet, package etc). Picture quality is much better than the blink, has a really good field of view as well. Hopefully it holds up in the Canadian winter and freezing temps. Very pleased with this camera so far.

I’ve been a Wyze customer since the days they opened the doors, a legacy so they call us. I’ve been quite disappointed a couple of times by Wyze though.
Once by their promise to all of their customers early on by stating they would never charge us for the AI person detection on their cameras. Though after a while, they started asking for donations, whatever we wanted to give monthly. I refused to pay for years. Then, with periodic software updates, the detection capability would intermittently “disappear” from my application. I would have to go to the website and recheck all of my cameras to get it set back up. However the last time I tried there is an error message, So I guess they finally took back their promise after all.
And my other big issue with them is their lack of support. In the very beginning their support was good. Of course then, they only had a few products to worry about supporting. I think it became an issue over time of having so many products, that basically they have too many irons in the fire, so to speak. So in my opinion when you try to get any support on a problem that you have it is next to impossible to get a timely response, If you get one at all.
However I’m using these OG cameras, strictly for 24/7 recording on my property. The motion detection is not the best in the world, and has a lot of false alarms. So for me in my needs, It’s worth four stars.
I would like to mention this for those that have complained they’re upset because they don’t include the outdoor power cords. If you are plugging into a waterproof electrical outlet outdoors, you do not need this added outdoor power cord that they sell separately. As long as your charger block fits inside of your waterproof box and it closes, you can obviously still use it outside. Your box will protect it. No need in wasting your money.

I purchased 2 of these. And later purchased 2 more. Easy to set up. Very affordable. Easy to navigate. I have 4 set up showing every angle of the outside of my home. I set them up inside so I could plug them in to the electrical outlets, then placed them in the window. The view is very clear. I do not have them running constantly but can pull up at any time to get a view of what’s going on outside my home. I highly recommend this product.
