Good cam, good image quality, good nighttime image even without IR, with some issues though. It randomly loses connection to the router. I have 2, one is working fine, the other one loses connection. But never when on the same wifi network with the phone, only accessing it remotely on celular. Not sure the cause: camera? Router? iPhone app? Sometime retrying make it work, sometimes not. The events playback remotely is fine, only live image is affected. The detection zone does not seem to work, it triggers all the area no matter what zone you select. All in all I still consider it one of the best at this price category.

I recently installed the Wyze Cam v4 and I’m incredibly impressed! For the price, it offers a fantastic combination of features and ease of use.
Simple Setup: I was up and running in no time. The installation process was straightforward, and the camera quickly connected to my Wi-Fi network.

Excelente night vision, excelente resolucion, funciones nuevas como una voz que alerta (aunque solo en ingles) de que estan grabando. Esta voz de alerta se puede activar opcionalmente para que suene cuando detecta una persona o movimiento segun tu prefieras.
En general me parece bien!
Trae integrado un spotlight y después de algunos días de uso ya aprendí a configurarlo a mi gusto. Pero el night vision realmente no necesita el spotlight, tiene excelente calidad. El spotlight de igual modo se activa cuando pasa gente a como lo he configurado yo, y eso ayuda a que ni se interesen en voltear a la casa, hasta apuran el paso. XD
Da tranquilidad saber que la camara ya no solo graba, sino que proactivamente se hace visible a las personas que merodean tu area.

I’ve never been one for the whole home security system idea, unfortunately it seemed like a good idea after a few packages being stolen, cars getting broken into, and a hit and run on my car.
I was pretty skeptical about this company and their cameras, but after having them up and trying them out, I’m really happy with the ones I have.
This one I believe is one of the newer cameras released, and it’s definitely my favorite. From customizing things in the app (spotlight, having it either beep or say “your being recorded” when it detects something, and a bunch of other things.), and being able to talk through it or use a siren, and get notifications about anything from people, cars, pets and the random raccoon that sets mine off overnight, packages, and even Smoke, CO2, Gunshots and glass breaking?!?! I’m fairly impressed.
I also was monitoring mine over the 4th of July to see if it could distinguish between a firework and gunshots and I think it was pretty accurate (my neighbor occasionally “fires his gun for rent control” lol) cause it picked up about 3 instances of “gunshots” but idk if it was true or not.
It also has a “zoom” feature that you can lock if you want (although I think it’s still fairly new and has some issues), license plate detection (which only works within a certain distance), and pretty decent night vision (legit looks like daytime to me lol) and decent video quality.
It’s also pretty easy to set up. If you’re using the app, I recommend setting it up prior to installing it in its forever home. And mounting it is super simple, you can either use this magnet or screw it down wherever. And there are add-ons you can get for wherever your mounting it (longer cords, window mounts, ect).
I’m pretty happy with the company, I like my cameras, they make a ton of different cameras and home security stuff, so I would check out their website for more details and information. They also run deals and discounts on both Amazon and their website, but I think Amazon has faster shipping than they do.
